Back Story
I was the first intern at Tandem before it was anything more than conviction and a thesis. That’s where I caught the bug: backing people building things that don’t exist yet. I went on to join Partners Group, where I invested across software and infrastructure deals, including the Qualtrics take-private alongside Silver Lake, next-generation charging and last-mile delivery fleets at Gateway Fleets, and behind-the-meter power generation for data centers at Life Cycle Power.
I enjoyed private equity, the people, the rigor, the companies. But I had an itch I couldn’t scratch: I wanted to be back at the beginning, backing founders building tomorrow rather than optimizing what already won.
