Back Story

My path to venture capital is less than conventional. I joined Divvy as its first intern back in 2016. I worked for free and did whatever was needed. I built desks, scraped lists, and did every other manual task you could think of. After gaining some trust, I was put on a rag-tag team tasked with starting Divvy’s partnership channel. Our small team became the fastest-growing channel at Divvy, going from $0 to over $100m in ARR in 2.5 years. 

After Divvy was acquired, I connected with Alex and Mckay about building Tandem and the rest was history.

On the look out for

I love working with people who have something to prove. 

Name brand schools or companies are impressive, but too often it comes with an entitled mindset of “I’ve made it.”  That’s just the beginning. I dropped out of school to go all in on start-ups. If you’re willing to compete in unconventional ways we are going to get along.
